What to know about your BMW
Condition Based Service (CBS)
Instead of one service date, your BMW tracks oil, brake pads, brake fluid, microfilter, spark plugs and the vehicle check separately. Each item has its own due date in iDrive or the instrument cluster.
BMW Longlife oil approvals
BMW engines need oil approved to BMW Longlife standards such as LL-01, LL-04 or LL-17 FE+, depending on the engine. The approval code is on the oil bottle.
New batteries must be registered
The car adjusts charging to the age of the battery. A new battery that is not registered gets overcharged and fails early, so registration is part of every battery job.
xDrive dislikes mismatched tyres
On xDrive models, tyres with different wear or sizes front and rear can strain the transfer case. Replace tyres in matched sets and keep pressures correct.

Common BMW problems we fix
Cooling system failures
Electric water pumps, thermostats, expansion tanks and plastic coolant pipes are common wear items, especially in Dubai heat. Overheating warnings should be checked immediately.
Oil filter housing and valve cover leaks
Leaking gaskets on N20, N55, B48 and B58 engines can drip oil onto hot parts and the drive belt. We replace them before they cause bigger damage.
Timing chain and VANOS
Rattles on start-up or VANOS fault codes need prompt diagnosis, particularly on N20 and N47 engines.
ZF 8-speed gearbox
The ZF 8HP is strong but benefits from a fluid and pan-filter service in UAE conditions, despite being called "lifetime" fill.
Battery registration and coding
BMWs must have a new battery registered to the car. We fit the correct battery and code it.

Condition Based Service. Each CBS item counts down on its own. BMW Longlife oil intervals can be long; in Dubai heat and traffic many owners choose a shorter oil interval, around once a year or 10,000–15,000 km.

Can you register a new battery on my BMW?
Yes. We fit the correct AGM or EFB battery and register it so the charging system works properly.
Do you service BMW M cars?
Yes, we service and repair M models with the correct oils and parts.
Do you repair BMW air suspension?
Yes, on X5, X6, X7, 5 Series and 7 Series models with air suspension.
Why does my BMW lose coolant but show no puddle?
Small leaks often evaporate on hot engine parts. The usual suspects are the expansion tank, plastic pipes, the water pump and the thermostat housing. A pressure test finds them.
Can you reset the BMW service lights?
Yes. We reset each CBS item that has been serviced and read any stored fault codes at the same time.
