Common questions
Why does my car overheat in traffic?
At low speed the engine relies on the electric cooling fan. A failed fan, low coolant or a blocked radiator usually causes overheating in traffic.
Can I top up with water?
In an emergency, yes, but get the leak fixed and the correct coolant mix restored soon. Water alone does not protect against corrosion or overheating.
